Paddle Challenge

When 6 year old Leo discovered that people were living on the streets in his home town of Oxford because they didn’t have anywhere to live, he decided he wanted to do something to help them.

He visited a local day centre that provides support and development. Then he set himself (and his dad!) a challenge – to paddle a Canadian canoe for 25 miles along the Thames from Lechlade to Oxford – and ask family and friends to sponsor him so that he could raise money forThe Porch Steppin’ Stones Centre.
Leo and his dad camped at Northmoor Lock Paddocks for 2 nights in 2012.

“Paddling is hard. I like lunchtime best” said Leo “this is my favourite campsite yet”

If you would like to support Leo, the link below will take you to The Steppin’ Stones Centre website where you will be able to donatate online.

Well done Leo!
