⛺️ Bookings now open for all 2026 weekends
Some of you are aware that in July 2024 the rules for riverside campsites changed, a consequence of which is that we are currently only able to use 8 of the 28 riverside pitches in our riverside fields.
Bookings for campervan, log pod, furnished bell tent and the tent pitches we are able to use will open as normal. In addition to the riverside fields we’ll also be turning the play-meadow over to tents to replace some, but by no means all, of the tent pitches we have lost in the riverside fields.
Group pitches for 3 or more are VERY limited, depending on the number and size tents – but essentially one in the log pod field and one, possibly 2, on the play field.
Please note: You will still be able to use the riverside fields as access for swimming and canoes, picnics etc – you just can’t pitch tents there.
There will also be some unmanned ‘self check-in’ weekends – for which you will only be able to book if you have stayed with us within the last 4 years – so watch out for those weekends if you want to come with friends who have not been before as they won’t be able to book for those weekends.

The availability of canoes is unknown at present, However, please indicate on you booking for if this is something that you’d be interested in if canoes are available.

Check-out : by 1pm (this is still essential to comply with the restrictions around campsite licences)
Here’s How to Book:
1) Check you tent/campervan/awning details carefully:
All pitches are allocated according to the tents that will be pitched on them so please have your exact tent details ready as we can’t process your booking request without this information. Details should be on the bag
Vango 600 etc is not enough information, we need the model too and, where appropriate, XL or DLX etc

2) Click the Availability Overview (after the Campsite Codes below) for the month you are interested in to see if we have space. If you are part of a group and we have already been in touch with your group coordinator to say that we can accommodate you then that has been taken into account.
3) If we have space, (or if we have told your group leader that we can accommodate you) click the Request a Pitch button:
Complete the booking form and submit your details.
4) If you are the group leader and want to temporarily reserve pitches for your friends:
You’ll need their tent details too to enquire whether we can accommodate your group.
NB Please check our Camping in a Group information carefully as we have strict limits on groups.
