Some of you are aware that in July 2024 the rules for riverside campsites changed, a consequence of which is that we are currently only able to use 8 of our 28 riverside pitches.
This means we only have 1 riverside pitch for groups of 4 or more tents. The other 7 pitches are all single pitches.
Bookings for campervan pitches will open again as usual, but we will need to determine whether it is economically viable to do so in the future.
We’ll update you as things progress.

During the camping season, we will try to process booking requests over the weekend, however, our focus will be on our guests who are staying on the campsite that weekend: Enquiries received on Friday, Saturday and Sunday may therefore not be processed until Monday

Please note, before we can confirm availability of tent pitches we will need to know the capacity of each tent.

Unfortunately, whilst the campsite phones have patchy mobile and (very limited) internet access on site, they do not have good reception in the office! They are therefore only in use when we are on-site during the camping season, May – September. Please submit all booking enquiries via our online ‘Check availability and Request a pitch’ forms where possible. One day there may be a network which covers both the office and campsite!
